I had hoped to be able to post my own pics by now but will have to use the ones from the owner. I'm stuck in bank he** waiting for the local credit union that holds the title to clear the check from my bank to pay off the lein...not a personal check mind you, a check directly from bank to bank. They told me today that they hold them for 10 BUSINESS DAYS, not the 3 they told me last Thursday. So, I now have 8 days left where I pay interest on my loan and the credit union gets interest on my funds....and I have no truck. Can you tell I'm happy?

In any case, here are the pics of the truck. I've seen and driven it so the pics are accurate. It's a 2004 ExtraCab 4X4, V6 TRD/SR5 with less than 28,000 original miles. I'm pretty sure the tires and brakes are still the original. It has had a clean frame check. I am really looking forward to getting it - have not had a Toyota since my 1990 4Runner.

Man, you're practically getting a brand new truck!! Less than 28k miles an on '04 first gen?? How perfect can you get?! :)

Haha, well you'll make it through the ten days, hang in there. In the meantime, just search around on the forums for 1st gen picture threads to tied yourself over.

    Take of that truck man!!

My wife is going to kill me if I don't quit buying things for a truck I don't own yet! :)

Patience is not one of my virtues. One of the best commanders I worked for in the Army used to say "If the enemy isn't shooting at you, you aren't trying hard enough. Now move out and draw fire!" :D I want that Taco, now!

$16k. Don't burst my bubble, though. Tell me it's a good deal. ;)

Actually, it's less than asking and even less than my bank would have authorized based on age, mileage, condition and options.

    $16 is a great price!

Whole 'lot better than having to pay $20K plus if it were for sale here in Western Washington.

    I paid 15k taxes and registration included for 2008 2wd 5lugger with 23k miles.

If the truck you are getting was available when I was buying a Taco, I would have easily paid 17k, enough said...lol

Youre good... very reasonable price for the miles... you'll get a min of 200k off that. Given you take care of it.
