Headlight covers, find where ?

New member and new 2011 PreRunner owner and first vehicle owned with plastic (?) headlight lens. I am hoping to find some clear headlight covers but am having no success. Can anybody recommend a source? TIA

I'm curious as to why you want clear headlight covers? Do you mean hard plastic, or like a film? Lamin-x makes a film.

 

WeatherTech carries 'em.
I have 'em installed.
there's others, I'll repost if I find 'em

WeatherTech's are Flexible Rubber of some sort.
They claim they're take a 1" rock at 100mph and not penetrate.
Of course the plastic lens behind 'em is toast
Keeps the lenses from getting pitted

So then what's the point if it still breaks the lens?

I've had them on my Solara for 10 Years or more.
Lenses are like new and the Lens Protector are still clear.
Gotta take your time installing though.

Made specifically for the GL1800 and of some kind of hard plastic (?) and protects the plastic lens of the headlight from pitting and cracking from larger objects. Easy on/off for cleaning but do not fall off (45k miles with them on and a speeds much higher than I will ever go in my truck [if you have an ounce of stupidity in your body, a motorcycle will find it!]).

So...inasmuch as there are a lot more Tacomas on the roads than Goldwings, I did the ass-u-mee thing in that someone, somewhere must make a similar product for the Tacoma. And one look at me and you'll understand why I would want clear and not "stylin" tinted.
