i emailed erik like 4 times and pm'd him no response yet... i think at the time he was in the process of moving though. i saw his work in person and its nice man! i agree your truck looks killer with that bad mofo up front!

the arb is tough as shit dude but there are no recovery points up front which i find to be completely strange on an off road bumper.

yeah that was the plan some time before next spring it will be geared and locked:)

the short wheel base and lockers front and rear and the regular cab will be a fugging beast. your truck is awesome dude keep it up. the exhaust sounds super good much better than my flow master 40 series.

No, u pmed ERIC* not Erik* :D . And yes, recovery points are necessary... I try to get stuck everytime I'm out with trail rigs. - I just need lockers so they stop chucklin.

yeah arb makes a nice bumper no doubt but, not having any recovery points kinda kills it for me. i'm not really sure what they where thinking when they designed that bumper seeing as how arb prides themselves on quality design and materials. fucking the rear bumper has been in production for like 3 years lol. all that time spent on design and no recovery points on a bumper designed for off road use.

maybe i will send him another pm on here to see if he has gotten settled in yet and is ready to take on new orders.

question for ya bud. does your bumper line up side to side and is it correct width wise? fit and finish is important to me also how much does that puppy weigh?

the standard bumper will line up perfectly if you leave the fenders on. I had Relentless Fab shave off 2" so it will line up perfect with my fenders removed. The aluminum bumper which I have only weighs 55 lbs. The steel bumper weighs about 105 lbs i think.

you have the aluminum cool! lol actually the whole reason i'm even looking into the after market bumpers now is due to my lift so the heavier the better for me. so one of those bastards shot in line-xtra sounds like it might work.

ya the steel bumper should bring the front down some more. The aluminum with a winch didnt do much at all for me with the 885s

i'm going to have him make it out of the 1/4 inch steel. those pro comp spring rates are a little more than the 886 coil! so i'm gonna need some weight up front lolz. i'm still on the fence about the center hoop though.

i really like how clean yours looks he def makes the most stylish bumpers for a tacoma. road armor has a cool looking bumper but, it's so over priced it's not even funny!

thinkin about adding TC 3.5" long travel with appropriate bump stops and keeping stock fenders (maybe cutting them). Or geting ARB lockers front and rear.

The LT would be to be a BAMF but the lockers may be more practical.

LT would probably be used more unless you plan to stick to just "rock crawling" type trails, in which case, the lockers would be more useful to have if need be. Personally I would go lockers front and rear because my surrounding areas are more or less trails where lockers would be more useful instead of LT. Whatever the decision is I'm sure it will be the right one, and either way your truck is badass.

duplicor spray on bedliner (DIY). it is a pretty good product. it holds up nice. it dries in about 2 days but takes about 2 weeks to cure. so that sucks. in other words, its not ready to take any abuse (or even step on it) for atleast 2 weeks.

i mostly do trails and 4-lo type wheelin. does LT help much for rock crawling and such?

i bolted mine on and drove it 2 days after spraying it. doing that will be fine. but if u were to put a lot of pressure on it with the pad of ur thumb, for example, and slide it sideways, it could remove that part of the liner because the stuff underneath has not cured. it was atleast 2 weeks (maybe even a month) before it hardened up enough so my fingernail wouldnt leave a mark.
