So im at the alignment shop now. They can't get the right side caster im spec. It's further back towards the fender than the driver side. What can I tell them to help out?

Do you have the sheet that came with them? It's pretty detailed as to how it should be aligned.

Did you mount the ball joint in the same position on both sides?

I took mine to the stealership to have it aligned and I got my 15k pre-paid maintenance done at the same time... They didn't charge me for the 4 wheel alignment at all. I only had to pay the $32 and change to top off the fluids...

Shouldn't be an issue if they just start with them both at the neutral position

Haha. Upside down ucas was the problem.

j/klol. The finally got it into specs, and yes the ucas were set at the 0 (neutral setting) I pulled into my driveway, and now my passenger side tire scrubs like hell. . . I guess I'm going to have to trim some more fender. . . They even said they moved the wheels forward away from the cab.

This is my concern with getting new UCAs. It seems several people have trouble with rubbing after they get them and get alignment back to the proper numbers. New UCAs + Alignment = rubbing it seems.

Yeah, at first, then I told them to actually look at the paper I handed them. . . Amazing things happen when you read directions I guess :p They had the caster adjustment washer out of its notch. . . shit was all turned sideways lol. . .

Yeah. I'll take it though. The outsides of my tires were wearing like hell. I'd rather trim some plastic than spend a grand on new tires.

Will I got DSM UCAs when I ordered my OME lift. I did all the work myself and the aligment sbhop told me my truck was the best out of any truck they've ever seen come in with a lift. Only thing off was my toe. Caster and camber were same as before the lift

Can't remember exactly, but everything was in spec besides the camber. That is why the outsides of my tires were wearing. Here is my alignment now with LR UCA's

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
if you get the caster to 2.5-3*, you'd have less rubbing.

Thanks. I'll probably go back up there tomorrow, and see if they can do this.

I just got mine aligned and it took 3.5 hours. It kept pulling to the right but they finally got it. Mine rubs too. Its annoying
