Power steering rack bushings

How much "play" should there be in the power steering rack?
Just had an alingment check-he said that I needed power steering rack bushings. Have not noticed any looseness in the steering-I would guess it moved /1/4"(possibly a little more) of an inch when forced--Should I replace?-Recommendations on where to get parts and the best to get.
Just installed bilstein 5100 front(1 3/4" rise) and back--new tires--thus alignment.
Said it was off 1 degree-he aligned-will need another if I replace bushings
