^^^^ Nice job man. Better than mine was. I actually Re-did mine today and it came out wayyy better than before. Its still not perfect. But its Good enough for me. I even color matched the grill. Up close you can see a little un even parts but nothing major. From 5 feet away you cant tell. Gotta be standing right in front of it to see it.

Pics tomorrow when the sun is out.

Here is the final product. It only has like 2 coats so I still need to add some clear coat and some more paint. But I think it looks good for my first time using Bondo and Fiberglass. I also need to paint the inside black so you cant see through too much.

Also. Witch looks better. Color matched or black grille?

Yours looks awesome already great job so far.

I kind of messed mine up too. I can look at it everyday but i know theres a number of imperfections. Might take it off in the future sometime and redo it or just order an insert with the mesh i want from homertaco. doesnt get easier than that.

M1 is nice too. From the looks of it with what you posted youve got agood base to work with. just make sure the bondo is a kinda salmony color when you mix it. Depending on wat one you got actually. post pics ofthe progress.

Honesty the paint on my crime grille chipped a lot. I had 8 coats too when it was black. But ya I like the color matched grill on my truck. If mine was red it would be black. Black and red is the best color scheme! I need a better grille as well. Maybe I'll buy one too

They sell aluminum screen door mesh at lowes in the door section. That's what I used. It's not bad for 7$
