I'm glad I haven't had that same issue with my Wahoo yet. I agree with you about frame size I'm 6'0 also and the 19" frame is perfect for me.

Cheaper ones seem to require less work to keep running.

I need to adjust the front deraullier (spelling?) how do you pronounce that word anyways?! haha

when im on the highest gear on the front crank (3rd gear?) the deraullier is slightly hitting the chain making an annoying clicking noise. Ill get some better pics tonight

Does it look like it is not going out far enough? Where the chain is rubbing on the outer side of the derailleur cage? The chainring up front should basically be centered in the derailleur cage if you only have 3 clicks on the left hand shifter. That way the chainline can swing either way a bit while going thru gears out back and not rub on the der cage much if any. If there is no adj on the shifter itself then you have to pull cable tighter by the derailleur. If there is then turn the adj on the shifter all the way back in(slack) then undo the bolt holding the cable to the derailleur and pull it tighter then use adj on shifter to dial it in. Do this with chain on smallest chainring up front to have slack in cable. The rear derailleur is similiarly adjustable but you have adjuster on right hand shifter as well as an adjuster on the rear derailleur. Use the ones on the shifters to microadjust and pull cable for front adjustment or use the adjuster on the rear derailleur for the bigger adjustments. May have to pull cable on that one if cable is stretched enough that the other 2 aren't helping.

awesome, thanks for the help! your first two sentences are spot on!

on another question, I flipped the bike over upside down and the two cables (gear cables) are actually wrapped around each other two times, shouldnt they just be side by side and not touching?

should I just losen the front der from the frame and unwrap them or just remove the cable from the der, unwrap, and put it all back (adjusting the tension while I do all this)?

as far as the cables i think the only way would be to take the cables off and un twist them.

for the derailleur i think you should probably adjust the high screw. there are two screw on the FD one that says h and one that says L. the h will change the position of the FD. if you take it to an LBS they should adjust that for free if you dont want to. i know they do that kind of stuff for free here.

Not a bad idea, but keep in mind - if the cassette is bad, there is a good chance, even a probability, that the chain rings also need replaced. If the chain is worn out to the point of causing major wear on the cassette, the problem will be on the chainrings as well.

Also, replace your chain at the same time.
