I want to level my prerunner. I have heard of people leveling their prerunners with 5100s but the man at rhino linings told me that shocks wouldnt allow me to level it, even if they are adjustable. He directed me to buy a readylift leveling kit and guaranteed that it would not effect my ride quality. I dont know if he was serious or just trying to sell me a kit for $230 and an alignment. My question is, can i use billy 5100s on my prerunner or do i have to resort to a spacer leveling kit? From what i have researched, i have heard much greater things about the 5100s.

    Thanks!

BTW its an 2007 prerunner TRD Sport. V6

5100's in the front @ 2.5", 1.25" allpro wheel spacers (Removed), painted front valance, BHLM, eyelids, Grillecraft grille, magnaflow catback ehxaust, k&n CAI, window tint, 2 10" kicker subs, painted badges, 5000k 55w HIDs (headlights & fogs), (2) 7" kragen HID lights behind grille, rear tsb (finally), AAL

its adjustable to 2.5". i put the 5100's on mine and it lifted it up more then level. if you go to .85" i think that puts it at level. and i only paid $150 for both front shocks. kind of a pain to put on tho

The 5100s are perfect for leveling your PreRunner. You should be good at the 1.75" setting.

im sure you'll be fine, it comes with instructions. you will need a spring compressor tho. other then that its just your standard tools that are req.
