My commute is 24 miles to and from work, mostly highway. It takes me about 45 min. each way, when the kids are in school and about 30 min. during the summer. I sure like the summer! :D

I do a minimum of 5 lights and 3 stop signs. 80 miles one way about 1 hour of straight flat road and 15 minutes through town. Not something I like doing when I'm tired, you get hypnotized by the road easily. But at 7am vary little traffic so I put on cruise and ride to about 24mpg and because I don't have to speed up or slow down 90% of the time, I just move over, pass, and back over. At around 4 when I leave its more traffic but there is a gas station about 5 miles out of town on my way home that most of whatever traffic I see turns off at so its just me most of the time.

18.5 miles each way..I have to deal with all traffic that's trying to get into NYC. Also a lot of road construction because the superbowl is coming to giants stadium and they want everything pretty. :( it could take 20 minutes or an hour

24 miles each way takes about 45 minutes, no highway but can't complain, it's Florida  Nothing like the commute in and out of DC when I lived there.

ya that dc traffic is about as bad as I have ever seen. My son got lost right in the heart of DC. on a friday afternoon coming from ohio to visit me and the wife. he had a borrowed gps that just took him around in circles luckily we were able to look his route up online and walk him through it on the cell .. Seems like the construction around there is always so bad.

7.5 miles each way. on a normal day, its about 15 minutes, but if its snowing or the road is icy, it can take 30-45 minutes.

17 miles one way to Big Oil BP. 99% freeway and no traffic at 6am in the morning. I leave at 5/530ish & that's another story. I can make it in about 20 min to work and about 25/40min heading home depending on how people are driving.

About 8 miles door to door. Takes anywhere from 12 minutes to 20 minutes depending on traffic at the gate.

6 miles. Takes me longer to get out of my driveway to the main road than it does to go from the main road to work. 10 miles if i have to drop my boy off at daycare.

I can be home for lunch in 9 minutes.

5 miles from home to work. Then take the work truck for 150 mile average trip from shop to the field. Stay at company housing most of the time which is 20-40 miles from the field every day each way.

25.6 miles each way. 14 miles of over-congested, retail store infested, red light crested 4 lane, but the rest of twisty-turny, quiet, shaded, relaxing backroad. The drive home is usually very relaxing at 11:30 PM.
