It helps with the movement of the military press and maintains form for the behind the head military press too. Also bent over rows, single arm barbell rows, calf raises, hack squats, things where a bar goes up and down but not sideways.

 

Yea ok... I can work out at the same intensity as you all day long, you just lift heavier then I do.

 

Well lets see how it plays out.

 

And to think in a truck forum we should be fighting over who's truck is better then who's. But no we fight over who can do more with steel plates.

Personally I wouldn't stand a chance in the gym but I guess if I ever were famous I now know who to hire for security.

I have been working on my cardio for a couple of months and now getting back in to circuit training. This is my first week of weight training in a long time.

 

It does help with the movement but the point of free weights is to train all of the stabilizing muscles. The Smith machine is very close to cheating. It would benefit people doing physical therapy or new to free weights.
