It got late and had to leave the truck there for the night. Crappy thing is the water kept flowing and it got worse when we tried to dig it out the next day. Had to call a off road tow company and pay $250. :(

Yea the wife has already cleared me getting a winch. In fact she has already cleared me for my bumpers, AP LT kit and winch :D I didn't have any buddies to call all but one moved sadly. His Ford with stock tires was not gonna make it even close to my truck. The water had made the whole path mush and I probably should have turned around when I felt what I was driving on. Oh well we live and learn, and then we find TW :p

Some shit I got on craigslist
    [IMG]
So this past Saturday after a sucessfull Friday of 'wheeling (see pic 1) I got the itch and decided to do a little "urban offroading". I pass by this spot all the time on the way to my GF's house that is under the 295 bridge in DT Baltimore, and decided to check it out. It is right near the train tracks and I knew there was probably some mud/trails back there even if it was probably illegal. Seeing no signs I hopped a curb and decided to drive around. I was on my way out when I decided to drive through a muddy patch that ended in a pretty steep dirt bump. Seeing some previous semi-shallow tracks I didnt think it was that soft - boy was I wrong! I instantly sunk down a good two feet and ended up like this.
After shoveling for an hour or so, I was done. The dirt in the front and back was solid and was too high to dig out on my own. The mud and water from the sides kept filling back in reversing any progress I had made. By now I had an open blister on my hand (open wound + bmore filth = nothing good) from shoveling w/o gloves, and it was obviously time to make some calls for help.
No one with a winch or a proper truck was around at the time, so I bit my lip and called AAA. After an hour of panicking about the cops showing up, AAA came to my rescue with a flatbed trailer. He hooked up his winch to the recovery points on my trailer hitch and hauled me out. Afterwards the guy told me it was the worst mudhole he'd seen in years, and I tipped him a good bit since hauling me out was probably illegal for him too.
All said and done, it cost me two hours of digging, 2 hours of washing (myself), 3 hours of washing (my truck + driveway), one CV boot and the money for the tip. Wow, not the Saturday I had planned.
/oh i forgot. All the while, this bum who lived under the bridge (VN vet, Wayne) was giving me shit for not being able to get my truck out. "Just pop that thing in 4wd and reverse out so I dont have to see your motherfucking face no more!". Had to give him a couple bucks too!

simple solution. " bet your tundra couldn't make it" then tow him out with your truck and it badassness will be revived!
