    welcome aboard!

still a go for the 13th. we alsways have 2wd guys out at the meets. you'll do fine in the sand. we should have at least a few air compressors between all of us, so air down and it'll be some good wheeling.

well that is my predicament. im either going to get the Nitto Terrra Grappler AT or the Faulken rocky mountain ATS both will be 285/70/17. which do you think is better??!?!? mind you i dont do as much wheeling as you do but i do do a moderate amount.

    and welcome to the world.

I've had them since September or November and they still look close to new even with the lil burnouts and tire screeching :D

Just dont buy them from Tire Kingdom like I did

Tire Kingdom is a rip off. They charged $1300 for 5 285/70/17s when I coukd have got the sane ones for $900

Sweet that will work perfect and i would have to say the same about tire kingdom. They never actually have any good deals and are way over priced you can go almost anywhere else and get a better price, they just happen to be such a big company that people go there.

i have the terra grapplers. they are great in pretty much all situations on and off road, but to do so they use a softer rubber compoind, so you'll probably get around the same miles as the stock tires. i've been happy thugh. if i were to get ATs again, i'd probably get them a 2nd time.

we'll have at least two compressors then....i hope more though, because min's not pumping very fast anymore, and i probably won't have a new one before the meet.

Colin, what rate did u get and if u rotate them every 3k miles they will last a long time. Both my dad and one of my cuz have over 50k on theirs with lil tread left

rate as in load rating? they're only p rated. i rotate them every oil change, so somewhere around 4-4.5k miles. i think last time i put a tread depth guage on them they measured 8/32'', and i'm at about 20k on them. so i gues i was wrong, based on that, they'll get about 40-45k. i'll have new tires well before then though. they're awesome tires, but not quite right for my needs.

My compressor isn't exactly fast neither, but it's reliable and gets the job done. Don't leave home without it.
