I'm not an Officer.....but I can tell you without a doubt in my mind that this Officer IS a horrible Officer and should change the way he conducts business or should be fired.
And was there a reason why the other Officer was in the back seat doing a search? Can't do a search unless he has reasonable cause to do so or gets permission from the owner of the car.
If this is true I believe His felony could be dropped, unless he did have reasonable cause.

It sickens me how many times the Officer tells the gun owner how he should have shot him and blow his head off.

Most Officers aren't like this, always a bad apple every once and a while.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the driver should have known better to be driving around in this kind of neighborhood and driving around people he barely knows.....not to mention trying to have sex with a prostitute.

Where to start? I'm not familiar with Ohio, but would venture a guess that a career change is ceremoniously looming for this lad. Is there a face-palm icon that will cover this entire page available? If so, I'd like to post one.

He should lose his job at the least. And not be able to get on to another police force. This guy is abusing his badge. I know allot of cops and none of them are like this. He is as someone else said the bad apple of a group. Sad thing without the dash cam they would have called the victim a liar and took the cops side. I would like to know were he is now (carreer wise and what he got for punishment).

I actually think that the Officer should have been given a good talking to by His Bosses, put on 2 week unpaid leave and then let back on the force, we all make mistakes. Unless this is something he does a lot.
You can tell he is very stressed out, needs to figure out a way to deal with this or find a different career.

I have testing the 30th of this month for LVMPD, seeing this will make me cautious of whom my partner is!

No. He should be fired, lose whatever pension he has, and not be allowed to own a firearm. Being stressed out is NO reason to threaten to shoot someone 10 times. If I was to say the same thing to an officer, it's likely I'd have been charged with a felony or killed. Hell, if I was to threaten to shoot anyone 10 times I'd go to jail. No free pass just because your in Law Enforcement.

Stating that his partner would make an excellent witness while he "executes" the suspect was all the proof I need.

Further, I don't recall hearing consent for the search of the vehicle, nor do I recall hearing a reason why they where pulled over.

It's idiots like this guy that give Police Officers a bad name.

I have posted this story once already on TW ....so here goes Driving back from Georgia to Florida, I was in the pass. seat, my brother was driving, we swerved to miss a truck that made crazy lane change right in front of 2 GA state HWP in new Dodge Challengers or Chargers, but either way they were on us in a flash. Pulled over. He is asked to get out, I sit there, back pack on floor board, with my 9 mm in a snap case inside. Second HWP askes me to get out so he can search, I said sure, my dog was in back seat, so I asked if I can put him on leash, yes he said, Oh, BTY I have a pistol, how yould you like do this? I gave him my bag he puts it on hood of car unloads it, , takes me to the back of car, my brother was at front, I give all my information and Permit, then they switch and ask us the same questions. In the back seat was 3 zip lock bags full of farmers market fresh oregano, thyme, basil from a market in my parents town. Man did their eyes get big.[IMG]
When they finally decided we weren't drug runners they took off and told me to only load my gun when they were out of sight, good times, very good HWP guys, good story to tell mom and dad.

I don't remember for a fact but I know what I am supposed to do, I m sure I had my hands on dash at the time second officer came to my window. But I do know none of those Georgia Cops went into my brothers car while we were in it. And when I did tell the cop I had a weapon and a permit he was calm and collected, he never even blinked an eye. Their tone and actions were so much different than those of the officer in the vid, hell, I would have freaked the F out if he were to come at me like that. I would assume in that situation you would pull the people out and seperate and search each one seperately, kind of like the cops did to my brother and I, this would give the driver the chance to tell the cop whats up. But the driver in the vid was white, the dude in the back seat was black and the woman on the curb was, well I don't know....a known Problem?? The tone in the officers voice and the threat of shooting him or bashing his face in or even pulling him over every time he sees him with the threat of arrest is my biggest complaint here. I tried to look on the web site offered at the end of the vid but I didn't find anymore info on the case. I hope this dude has good representation.

Only when coming up on a suspitious person or dangerous scenario. It's for their safety, but no, this officer did not need to roll in "blacked out".

Thinking about it more now, why would a cop stick his head and most of his body in a car with a driver at the wheel? Sure the car was turned off but I hear stories of a cop being pulled down the road all the time. Two cops, two in the car, tell the woman to walk walk away, they didn't catch her in the act of anything, then focus on the two in the car. Problem solved, right?

Not if suspected suspicious activity was present. Which it could have been. All three should have immediately been taken from car and set on the curb. More patience from officer would have allowed him to be informed of the ccw. With one officer watching the three on the curb, the other should have done the search. This is the reason cops are killed, not because of what the driver did but the lack of protocol and cockyness of the officer.

Yes, I don't remember the time of the stop. And I don't know the location or neighborhhod history either. But at the same time, "Driver step out of the Vehicle" should have been said, FIRST. Hell he could have an UZI in his lap. Which would have killed everyone twice.

The legality of the stop, I don't know, Police are in the prepared mode all the time I would think. What if this "New Gun Permit Dude" refused to get out because he was scared? How many I'll Fucking shoot your face off comments are made or I'd bash in your face remarks till he did something rash or WRONG due to his fear? And ends up dead.
