I'm pretty stacked this up coming week. Friday I have off but I think I have plans with a certain smoking hot blonde! So I'm screwed for this weekend.

I was at their shop so I had to get something while I was there :D

I think it's made out of 3/16 sheet metal. It's easy to line up and weld on.

From their pic online, it looks like it hangs below the pumpkin...does it mount flush w the bottom or stick down a bit?

It doesn't stick down. It just looks like it because the crease is wider than the pumpkin since it's flat and not round

Isn't it supposed to stick down a tad bit? A rock is most likely going to hit the bottom. If it's flush then it's not doing much protection. Just on the back side? I don't know. Just my 2 cents.

Ya I thought it was supposed to be on the bottom. That looks like the diff cover I would get.

I am not going to claim to be an expert on this but the reason for it to be welded to the back is for dent protection while backing up. That cover on the stock axle is thin metal will dent in relatively easily ruining your gears. On the bottom of the axle that metal to my knowledge is almost 1/2 thick. You are not going to do much to that.

But that BozTec is nice. It would depend on the cost of the rear diff cover vs that BozTec skid. It actually comes up pretty far in the back covering most of the area a rear diff skid would. It also protects the locker actuator and the 3rd member/ U joint area. It might just be worth it.
