Why is 3 days a week rest bad? You don't have to juice to have energy, just eat carbs and take some caffeine before you work out.

The whole goal is to break down the muscle and rebuild. If you do chest and tri after you do chest your tris have already gotten a workout therefore you can work them better

Hmm I wonder why I didn't see this. You're shoulders get worked every time you do most upper body workouts. Its a bad idea to blast your shoulders one day and then do a chest workout the next.

You can do tri's after chest and tri's on arm day. Switch it up, do your bi's first on chest day then chest. The bad thing is to train the same muscle group every day. Cardio can be done before or after or on rest days. Start off the day with a few sets of squats to get the blood flowing, its actually a great feeling! My best work outs have been after doing a set or 2 of heavy squats.

This might be the worst advice I've ever heard.

You need to read up; the goal is to stimulate the muscle, not completely tear it down. This is the type of shit that leads to gross overtraining and injury; you don't grow in the gym, you grow while resting and feeding your body. For about 90% of the population, working each muscle group once a week is enough to grow to your genetic potential.

Typically, people substitute extra workouts for piss poor nutrition and lack of adequate rest. Eat right and you'll grow.

I think what he means is that while working the chest, you work the tri's then you work the tri's again afterwards, possibly to failure, depending on your routine...then they rebuild while you rest them till your next tri/chest day.

For me, my muscles respond better if I work them out twice a week, and I don't feel over trained at all, just allow myself at least 48 hours before the next time I work the group again. Granted I haven't been doing it like I want though lol, but I can only blame myself!
