I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

I'm working on a design for a rear diff skid for the 1st gens I will be doing one for the 2nd Gens and FJ's too if the 1st prototype works. I don't know what the price would be but I'm sure I can do them for less then 385 and mine will protect the pinion too something the BozTec doesn't do.

That would be cool. I am not planning on buy one right now. But I would buy one to finish out all of my skids.

    exactly.

It would actually be pretty easy to build one of those boztec skids.

JLee, did you ask if you could get a half sheet of steel plate?
the steel yard I buy from lets me get a 4'x4' if I don't want a full 4'x8'

Not really 385 is quite a bit i know i can do these for less i can get a 4'x8' sheet of 1/4 USA steel for $265 it's really the labor that makes these things so much.

Yeah I can get any size I want i was just pricing full sheets because if the prototype works out I'll be making quite a few of these. Ive seen a lot online and there pricey but it's the labor involved not the plate steel. I will have the best price and if it all works out the best protected diff skid on the market.
