Up until '09 TRD sports came with a mechanical limited slip differential (LSD). This uses clutch packs in the differential to spin both axles together when one loses traction. This year the trucks just have Auto-LSD, which uses brakes to stop the wheel that slips, transferring torque to the wheel with traction. I like the mechanical LSD more, but you can always add one later and from what I've read Auto-LSD works pretty well.

The 4-leaf springs for the rear are an upgrade specified in a Technical Service Bulletin from last year. My '09 came with 3-leaf springs that have been known to sag with a light load in the bed. I've been to the dealer and called toyota customer service, hopefully tomorrow I'll know for sure if they'll do the TSB on my truck, since it only covers '05-'08 trucks. From what everyone's said, they ride just as well as the 3 leaf springs. Do a search here, there's a lot of info on it.

Thanks! I had no idea what LSD stood for but once I know what it means for Toyota then it's kind of obvious. Although I don't see how an a-LSD would work any better than an m-LSD...seems like the latter would do a much better job.
Did they make the leaves stronger or just bend them more? I mean you can't just have 3 unchanged leaves and say it's fixed...
