    Holy crap. At Costco I can get a 1.75 of Maker's Mark (IMO, far superior to Jack) for $35. And it is often on sale for $5 off. This has not been beneficial to my liver.

    Are Canadian spirits heavily taxed? Is that a big part of the cost?

    That must make it difficult to be an irresponsible, unhealthy substance abuser who overburdens the healthcare system with skyrockeintg costs.

    We don't have that constraint here. The poor can get drunk just as much as the rich. Although in some silly places like Indiana, you can't buy booze on Sundays. WTF?
