First of all, I am an idiot when it comes to understanding the specs of a rim so bear with me as I ask a few questions.

    The Background:

I am looking into getting a Pro Comp 8179 in 16x8 as shown here:
    http://4wheelonline.com/Pro_Comp_Wheels_8179_Gloss_Black_w_Machining.142087.0

I currently have 265/70/16, but plan to get 265/75/16 once these tires wear out.

Based on what I see on the webstite, the offset for this rim is 0mm with 4.5" bs. From what I have seen and understand, a 4.5" will fit either 265/65/16 or 265/75/16. Am I correct?

I don't know if this information is necessary, but I am running my truck stock as of right now, but may be adding Bilstein 5100 all around in the next month or so.

    Appreciate it!

Edit: fit either 265/70/16 or 265/75/16.

you are correct sir. only thing i would try to research is whether or not that particular 16" wheel will clear the brake calipers on your 2nd gen.

How do I figure that out? By measuring 4.5 inches from the inside of the rim? If it does not, would spacers be something that may solve this issue?

Yeah spacers would solve the issue.

You may be all set though. 4.5" backspacing is what you want. Its just some wheels, because of the spoke design, still hit the calipers.

If you don't mind running spacers then I would just order the wheels, and when they come in do a test fit, if they rub, order your spacers.

Edit: OP I just looked at that site you linked again, don't even see the correct bolt pattern listed for the 16s.

Thanks for the input so far. I will look into the spacers as well, just in case.

That website does not show the bolt pattern, but I did some searching and found a website that showed two types: 8 on 170 and 8 on 6.5 whatever that means

Just a heads up, check with procomp before you order. The majority of there wheels are on back order. The lost there previous manufacture and are in the process of getting a new one. I had an order placed for some 7089 but cancelled when I was told the earliest would be September but not even 100% sure about that because none are currently being produced.
