OKAY SO I TOOK OUT MY LED LIGHT TO HAVE MY BROTHER SAUDER THE WIRE THAT SNAPPED OFF. SO I COULD NOT SEE IN MY TRUCK BECAUSE ITS DARK OUT AND SO I PUT MY TWO FRONT OVERHEAD LIGHTS ON AND I WAS PUTTING THE LED LIGHT BACK IN WHEN I SAW A SPARK IN THE OVER HEAD LIGHT AS I WAS PUTTING THE LIGHT IN AND THE TRUCK WENT DARK. SO I THOUGHT SHIT I JUST BLEW OUT MY FRONT OVER HEAD LIGHTS, SO I TRIED TO TURN ON MY LED LIGHT AND THAT WOULD WORK EITHER!! SO I GOT MY BROTHER AND THOUGHT I BLEW A FUSE OR SHORT CIRCUITED MY TRUCK. SO I SHOW HIM THE FUSE BOX AND HE CANT FIND A FUSE FOR THE OVER HEAD LIGHTS. ALSO I TURNED MY TRUCK ON AND TURNED ON THE HEAD LIGHTS THOSE WORK, SO FAR EVERYTHING WORKS, EXCEPT THE CLOCK, THAT RESET ITSELF SO IT READ 1:00 AND WHEN I TURNED MY LIGHTS OFF I NOTICE THE CLOCK'S NUMBERS TURNED INTO LINES, LITERALLY. SO I THINK I JUST FRIED MY INTERRIOR ELECTRICAL SYSTEM AND IM GONNA GO SEE TOYOTA TOMORROW AND SEE WHATS UP IF I CANT GET ANSWERS HERE, PLEASE HELP ME, I GOT A FEELING IM GETTING A 1000 BILL COMING FROM THE DEALERSHIP ABOUT MY TRUCK

i shorted something a couple times in my truck...nothing to really be concerned with i dont think

check both fuse blocks (one in the engine bay and one in the cab)

both times i just popped a fuse...replaced it and told myself to undo the battery every time i mess with wires

    i never learn

Is your radio working as well? I have an issue w/my 05 that I loose power to the radio, clock, and overhead lights all at once. I have a short in my wire harness that goes to the fuse box under the hood.

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
well its safe to say you learned the lesson of disconnecting the battery haha. I did that in my last truck and drove w/o radio for a week until i realized i was an idiot. checked the fuses and sure enough that was it.

btw, i was soldering stuff too.

look at the cover of the interior fuse block...it should have a diagram listing which fuse you need to fix...if not just start pulling until you find the blown one
