I like being able to remove the plastidip on my wheels to go back to the look of the factory wheels lol. On the grille, well it's a pain in the ass to prep anyways and it may not hold up well to the winter.

I have my opinion you have yours. Don't care. I'm not going to go as far as plastidip my whole truck or something. I saw a thread on an Infinity forum where a guy plastipped his whole car...I'm at the limits of the plastidip on my truck, no more is needed.

imo if you really want to I would. it's not much like $7 at most from Home Depot ($6 something plus tax). If you do it right, should last you a good 2 months or even more (there is a guy on youtube that did up his civic vtec rims, has some videos of progress (beginning, 2 months, etc.)

Just did my driver side badge a couple minutes ago. dippin the gate badge and pass badge next. looks good imo, but have to be careful with that "O", the dip pulled off nicely just try not to jab at it as much of it will come off with the toothpick.

I think you went a little overboard with the tape up... You can scrub the stuff off with your finger if u do "accidently" get some on your tailgate..
    Looks good though.

SO lets say I plasti dip my rims or bumper or whatever...
Is it going to come off when I wash it after off-roading or like If It gets scratched or whatever...?
Im thinkning paint would be a better idea?
My main concern is how it holds up to water/carwash

Its really not hard putting them back on as long as you make sure to mask off the location of each badge so you know exactly where you need to put it back on.

there was someone within this thread that did there's before me, I pretty much copied them :( lol. if all goes well, I will be doing the front bumper (stock matte black is guak) and side view mirrors (the black is also fading). I do about 4/5 coats at most and then let dry overnight ALWAYS, next day I usually wait till the afternoon of so to view findings.
