Hey, first time poster here. I have a 95.5 Taco Single cab. I've been lurking around the forum a bit and bought the 3" Eibach Spring/Bilstein 5100 shock setup from Toytec that's so often recommended around here. In the rear are 2" AAL. Installed the Diff drop too.

Well, after leaving the shop, I noticed a significant front end bounce, which is quite annoying and somewhat sketchy. I was wondering if this is normal, or if the bounciness may go away after a while. I returned to the shop and the guys said I might need stiffer front springs. Has anyone else with this setup experienced this problem?

Bouncy as in stiff bouncing or soft bouncing? Stiffer springs wouldnt be a good idea if it already has a stiff bounce. After my 5100's and 886's were installed, the ride was stiffer then stock if that helps any.

I'm guessing it's a stiff bounce since eibachs have a high spring rate. I bet it will get less and less intense with time, I still have a bounce with my set up (5100/883) but it doesn't happen too often, only when im going >20 with big slope changes

Its a pretty stiff bouncing, it kinda seem more like the shocks aren't providing enough dampening

They weren't changed from how they came in the box, (with the clamp ring in the top groove) but that might have been the highest setting? Is the 0" setting the lowest groove?

And there's your problem. You now have approxiamately 5.5" of lift. The seat should be on the very bottom ring towards the lower control arm.

Yes, 0" should be at the very bottom where it isnt compressing the spring to give a lift. Mine are also set at 0" cause the springs are what give the lift, not the shock.

It should be on the bottom ring in the pic on the left. Only you will have just three rings.

I think something will get fucked up regardless..I didn't read the single can part. IMO eibachs shouldn't be use on single cabs unless there's quite a bit of weight up front.

If you can, try and take some pics of the front suspension and your cv boots.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Oh man you need to go back and get that clip moved down the lowest setting. Your UCA's are probably maxed out right now that's why it feels so bouncy not to mention you have the springs preloaded like crazy.

No its not that high. It's about the same height as before with 2"spacers, and the uca.s aren't maxed out, but I'm going back to the shop right now.

Then there is something else wrong because I have about 1 1/2" of down travel at the bump stop and I'm a 0

Right now the truck is sitting pretty level. If I move the clip down will it drop the nose a bunch?

Post a pic so we can see the setting and the perch.
The perches should be on this way, and you should be able to see to whole grooves above the perch.
