Jacob, I know the difference between leaf springs and the UCA. I have read where a couple of guys on this site damaged the threads trying to remove the bolt and had to cut it off, or they just gave up and cut it out instead of bending the inner fender well. But, I am going to assume you have not been present at every TW members UCA install.

Ok, let's see here.....where did I put that......ooops, under the Big Mac wrapper is the Mod Day Checklist!

    Ok.....First off, what to bring.....

Parts, lots and lots of parts

    Brains (optional for some)

ummm....oh yeah FOOD! Only one real question, WILL THERE BE KING ROLLS????

Meth (for Steven, he's a weird one but we like him anyways)

Caffeine (for everyone else who is NOT named Steven....)

Strippers...Ooops, scratch that, we have a lady gracing our manly testosterone festival (truth is, she sounds like a cool gal, a WEE little balance would be ok)

    Mayo, yep mayo on EVERYTHING!

A weird obsession with our trucks that only other Taco owners will understand....

....OK, what to do when we are there.....

Take up every scrap of parking in Jerry's nieghborhood ("dang Vern! Lookit yonder, it's al them thar Toyota people again! What's it with those weidos? What are they doin back there? Maybe they're some weird cult parforming rituals with our pets.....hey, where's Fluffy?)

See if Chris's rig is going to fit in Jerry's garage (might have to air down the tires after the front lift if not before)

Stand around and talk about our trucks, it's a male bonding thing....

Make the newbies work on their own rigs, scratch that, encourage the newbies to work on their own rigs, gives them a sense of accomplishment and shows respect to the host and the vets.

See if we can't accidentally set something on fire with either the grinder or welder....

Stand around and eat egg rolls and talk about our trucks....

Josh the new girl (sounds like she can dish it out so this should be fun)

Break some parts along the way.

Break some knuckles along the way (or at least sacrifice some of our blood as an Offering to the Automotive Mod Gods).

Show off our Offerings of blood to others as an example of our Courage and Dedication to the Warrior Code of Modding....

Try to figure out if Steven ate paint chips as a kid or was he dropped on his head as a baby...

Kill off the egg rolls, stand around and talk about our trucks.....

See who grinds it out to stay as late as they can to help others finish their mods (after all, Jerry is a gracious host but I doubt he will want to store unfinished trucks for us!).

Clean up and drop a little $ in the tip jar and see what we can talk Jerry into doing with that new press of his....

Things to do before we leave.....

Make sure that everyone has their lug nuts torqued properly!!!!!

well that about does it, I'm ready, are YOU?

I didn't mean to sound like you didn't know the difference. Like I said in my previous post I personally have never heard of anyone having to do so. You're right I haven't but from what I have seen, done, and read it did not include cutting the bolt off.

Yes! Pick a time/place and I'll be there. Maybe somewhere in West Sac where the freeways come together?

If you don't want to do the diff breather mod (one I still haven't gotten around to doing, but I need to do it), you could always just do the dome light mod. That's something that is nice to have in the winter when it's dark out all the time. Not needed as much with an AC, but with a DC it's a must. Can't see sh$t up front in the cab at night without it in a DC!

Oh trust me, I have notes and photos. And look at this picture. Everything with a green piece of tape is a label to remind me what it was for.

How bout you pick a place, I'm not familiar with the area yet, Only been to West Sac once to pick up a grill. Whatevers good, even outside of town might be better, where its less busy.
