    Hey bro, why dont you join us! and which is the best way to get to balck canyon? do i turn left at magnolia? we have only turned left at 7th ave and followed it around to pamo valley road. but i know there is a different way to get to black canyon as well?:eek:

    I would have loved to go, but work was swamped so they asked me to come in on sat. As soon as it cools down I'm going to be hitting some of the 4wd trails in this book I got. 110 avg temps in ocotillo and corral canyon being closed are stopping me for now. Left at magnolia is the fastest route to black canyon, to get to pamo you just go down magnolia, take a left on pile, and then a right on pamo and go down. Most the trails on pamo road are forest trails though and require a pass and gate code. The crossovers from down in pamo valley to black canyon tend to be technical too.

    Looks like you guys had fun. Sorry i couldn't come along.. or get you these instructions ahead of time.
