welcome! it just depends what kind of lift youre looking for. just about everybody on this thread i think has a lift, some with 3" and some with 6" lift, some with 5100s and some with adjustable coilovers. and they all make a big difference so. good luck. let me know if i can help you with anything else.

I was eyeing the 3 inch procomp because it was the cheapest complete kit labor included i can find. Im willing to spend a little more (like OME or bilstein coilover kits) provided i can find a good shop that can install the properly. (i think 4wheelparts was asking too much for the whole install for the OME, $1600+)

Can you recommend a good shop? thanks!

Stay away rom 4 wheels parts. They are more or less the WalMart of performance shops. No need to spend even over $1000 for a 3" lift.

    I have 5100s with OME 885 springs
2" AAL and 5100 rear shocks

All in all under $600 for the lift. If you need an installation guy, get with us and we'll help bang it out! I have done all the work to mine as I'm sure has DonnoD and Tacobo. Between us, we have the tools and know how to get you off the bump stops!

That's a very nice offer, hard to resist. I might take you on that. How much would it cost me?

I'm thinking of ordering a kit from toytec, OME or Bilstein adjustables or better yet you can tell me what you recommend. I just want it lifted but still comfortable ride for my wife and baby. Food and booze on me too.

Please PM me your contact numbers, thanks again guys!

it really all depends on what you're willing to spend.
    3" lift
for coilovers and uniball upper control arms for the front which would probably be the best and most expensive. me and gbtoy4x4 just finished installing these on his truck today.

i have bilstein 5100s set on 0 with OME 886 coils in the front which are a bit stiff because they are made to support steel plate bumpers with a winch.

the only lift i would tell you stay away from are spacer lift because they are more prone to breaking when you bottom out although thats what i use to run on my truck and worked perfect lol. but i have seen scenarios here where the shock breaks or bends due to it bottoming out with a spacer lift.

there are so many combinations when doing a front 3" lift you just have to do your research and homework and hope for the best. it also depends on what you wanna do with the truck after you lift it. also check out toytec's forum for their scratch and dent deals. i bought my OME 886 coils from them for $100 because there was a couple of scratches on the powder coat.

If you would like the lift but still be comfortable, I would recommend 5100s with eibach or OME 885 coils and a 2" AAL

I would actually like to upgrade my suspension in the front. I have 5100 and the OME 885. I also have a steel plate bumper so it weighs it down too much for my liking. For you, it would be good. I could order soe OME886 and sell you my frot setup. If that sounds like something you'd want to do...

Is the OME and the 5100 already installed on your truck?

I was considering the 3inch lift kit w/ bilstein height adjustable coilovers w/ toy tec aaland extended 5100 rear ($859.99) and Light Racing UCA(449.99)

I'm willing to work with you if it would be cheaper for both of us and I would get the lift and ride I want. thanks!
