I have no idea. No water in the oil or airbox.

Did your injectors spray too much fuel into the cylinder? Cause that will bend your crank and put a hole in your block.

    Just happened to a buddy.

Dang! I have never heard of somethin like that happenin. Id like to know why it happened. My mechanic suggested a new engine as the best route. Id like to keep the engine, pull it apart and see what happened.

It's an 89 Toyota Pickup. I got some stuff done to it.. FJ axles going under it soon.
Some Izuzu's came with 4BT's..some came with 6BT(12 valve or for you others 5.9 Cummins..)...Fed Ex/Wonderbread type trucks usually had a 4bt.

Alot of work to get one running right, change out entire fuel system..figure a way to get your stock lighting harness to work with new computer..etc.
your 8.4 should handle a stock 4BT no problem..upgraded...not too sure.

Tranny wise..def need something Dodge wise so it will direct bolt up..or make a custom bellhousing adaptor to use say a R150F (if you want a 5 speed)

    5 speed diesel = boss.
    Auto diesel = semi boss

There is nothin like rollin coal down the road in a 5 speed 12valve..

Added the AAL to my OME Dakar leaf pack, and put the hella 700FF's in place of the 500FF's. Big difference on both. My truck can finally haul a load without squatting bad!

Hmmm. I might have to ask th mechanic what they could do. They always have the 12 valve cummins trucks sittin in their lot to work on. Might not be a stretch for them

I think you can put an inline 6 from an older Supra. Now that would be sick!

How is the AAL for your Dakars? I have Dakars and yeah they have nice flex but once I have my topper on it just squats with any extra weight in it. Im thinking about getting the 3 leaf AAL set.
