    My great-grandfather was in the Canadian Infantry in France in World War 1 , he was injured and spent 5 nights in no man's land before being rescued by a patrol of the Canadian Scottish Regiment .

    :thumbsup: for your military background. My Dad was in National Guard, Uncle WWII, Grandpa WW1 and cousin in Vietnam. I personally do not have the courage to do what any country's military does. I agree, common sense memorials should be respected. But unfortunately there are a lot of people out there who quite honestly would stop breathing if it wasn't an automatic function of the human body.
