And I got to sit in a Tacoma for the first time! Good news, I loved it :D

This trip solidified my plan to buy a new 2011 or 2012 Taco. I'm planning on a 4x4 DCSB SR5 (or TRD if they give me the right price). I cant 'freakin wait!! I am REALLY anxious to see the new 2012 changes now. Who else is buying now or within the next couple of months?

cant wait to see pics... there probably wont be any changes to the 2012. your best bet is to wait for the end-of-the-year clearance, but at that point there will probably be few selection left

I probably want to order from the factory. I have pretty specific wants!! And I heard the 2012's will have a reworked front (facelift) as well as black carpet inside and other stuff. There is a PDF containing the supposed changes for the Canadian market. Only time will tell if those changes turn out to be true.

Good idea. I bought my SR5/TRD DCSB Prerunner 2010, with a shitload of accessories thrown in, at the end of January this year. Sticker was 28K; Dealer add-on sticker put it at near 30.5K I paid just a hair over 26K out the door. I did have a loyalty and military discount in there too.

I bought my 2011 access cab 4wd v6 six speed about a month ago the dealer I worked with was really cool. He did say something that seemed strange though he told me that I could not order specifics from the factory. I would just have to find the "package" that suited my needs. I told him what I was looking for and he said he had one on a lot it Montana.(I live in Oregon) and would ship the truck over. I agreed we settled on $28,400. That's with all the ext warr factory installed tow pkg alloy wheels. Also I never once stepped foot in the dealership. Lol it was all done over the phone and then the salesman drove the truck 90 miles to my house!

Dealers say that because they want to sell trucks off their lots, not from the factory. They are always trying to push their inventory out - ordering from the factory doesnt help them do that. So I'm aware it will be harder to haggle with them if I order one... but I still want to do that. Or perhaps find one on the lot that is almost right and then just haggle them WAY down on price. Like below invoice :D

Same here, dealer told me I could only get them a certain way out here in Ca. Oh well I took advantage of Toyota's 1.9 financing. Its almost unheard of on Taco's out here. Don't know if the same is offered everywhere else but good luck!
