I took half my truck appart trying to find the clack sound coming from my rear suspension. Eventually I disconnected my rear shocks and was all WTF. Google later informed me of the bypass clickety clack.

My solution was to add two tens turn the radio up louder.

Those are the bypass shock check valves......you cant hear them when the windows are closed, but if you have a cab cage the sound transfers through the tubes.

sorry eric, i dont know. when building something that is supposed to protect my life... i'll spend way more that $11 a foot.

if you take your build as far as you plan, it's not a good sign you are already worried about cost... not trying to be a dick, just saying...

DO NOT CUT CORNERS TO SAVE A COUPLE HUNDRED BUCKS, ESP WHEN IT COME TO YOUR CAGE.

A chromoly cage isn't a necessity. If you have a good structural design, DOM tubing will be plenty strong

He did spend the money, from his last post. I can understand where he is coming from. He probably wants to ensure his money is going to the right place.

Total Chaos LT, King 2.5" bypass with Icon 2.5" LT coilovers up front and All Pro Baja leaves in the rear with 18" stroke 3" diameter Radflo bypass shocks and Radflo 2.5" bumps and TC 12" shackles. Polyperformance supplied limit straps, nitrogen setup, gussets and tabs. Yukon 4.88 gears, solid spacer in third setup by ECGS. Bumper to bumper cage, sliders, and all tube work 1.75"x.120 wall USA DOM built by me with a readywelder burning .035" flux core off two optima yellow tops. The rear glass is fiberwerx, glassworks up front. Hummer goodyear 37x12.50R16.5 take offs for tires mounted on Trail Worthy Fab 12 bolt double beadlocks. The motor is stock, has a volant CAI and URD Y-pipe and I tuned it with a MAF calibrator and innovate's R4 software using a LC-1 wideband setup. Like I said, just a taco with some crap welded to it. The exterior has a coat of herculiner and several coats of martin senour industrial flat black paint.

EDIT: Here's a link to some pictures along the way. It's funny to scroll to the bottom and see what it looked like stock, lol. http://s38.photobucket.com/albums/e144/woodlogan/?start=all

Random question not so much suspension but kind of deals with LT:

Fenders got painted a certain color, say silver. With being fiberglass construction and such, whats the proper way to go about repainting them to another color?

Sorry for the stupid ass question just do not know much about painting and such.

Same as anything else, just put a few drops of flex additive in when you mix the paint so it won't crack. It's not absolutely required, but it does help. If you're new to painting, sand the current paint down with 220 grit, then shoot it with sealer and primer then wet sand it with 1000 grit and do all your "finish" work (bondo in nicks, etc) then shoot it with your base coat, then several coats of clear.
