    i have a 07 white dc shortbed taco....got it used and was wondering how i can tell if mine is a trd....whats the difference between both options

    Well it's not a trd sport because it's a short bed. Do you have a rear locker? If so it's an offroad.

    I thought I heard all short beds were trd offroads but maybe I'm wrong.

    Did it come used without stickers? Pretty sure if its a TRD it would say it on the bed...unless someone slapped a sticker on there and charged extra you for nothing.

    In Canada tha TRD sports only come in double cab. Both short and long bed. The long beds are only automatic, but i'm not certain if the short are only manual or not.

    Jed, did you figure it out?

    *If there is a scoop on the hood it is a Sport TRD, a looks package.

    *If it has a button to the left of the steering wheel labled 'RR Locker' it is an Off Road TRD, an off road driving package (no scoop and the back bumper is chrome.
