Yeah.. no biggie. I'll find some new ones.

Nah man. I wish.. lol. but they wont fit behind my grill. I need some slim lights.

YUP! Lol. Nice dude. My bt-tm 15 looks just like a 416. If you havent seen one yet, Google that shit. Haha. If I can make it on this trip, ill bring my gear.

Is It supposed to he real Shitty weather up there? I dont mind some rain, but if its constant and we cant fish, or be out of our shelters, what's the point... Just my opinion. Lol

Lets jsut play it by ear. If its really rainy and crappy I will probably still go just to play in the mud but not camp (Just sleep in the truck again). Weather down here is fickle and changes hourly this time of the year so we will see what the weather does.

Absolutely! I have you added to the list. Remember folks, this is a trail run first, and a campout second. The campout is for those who, like me, are going to be too lazy to make the drive home after a long trail.

I'll reach out to him this week again to confirm. He's always really busy and works 7 days a week into the evening to fill orders. I was out there last week getting some touch-up work to my rear bumper thermal coating and he is still interested in going, just not sure if he can take 2 days off. I'll see what he says.

Also, I would expect that he already knows people will be asking him quite a few questions. He's a good guy so I am sure he will answer everyone's questions but he'll also be there on some R&R so we won't give him too much to digest.

How long ago did you run it? I haven't been on it since last year, but most folks I saw on the trail said it was the worst they've ever seen it. The only part that was nearly impassible was near the top but I hear that part was graded and is all smoothed out now. Have the rains this season done more damage?

Thanks for the heads-up though. That trail can always be full of surprises, which is what makes it so fun.

I was able to pick up KUPD (98) for quite a bit of the trail but it was in and out. I would definitely rely on the iPod if I was everyone. I know I will be.

Added! Glad you found the thread and can make it!

The trail is rocky in quite a few places, but can be muddy and rutted at other times. Bring your grubby shoes in case we have to get out of our trucks and do some mud recovery.

I'm not keen on camping in the rain, however we should only be seeing afternoon monsoon storms pass through, maybe. I just don't want the whole weekend to suck with continuous rain, other than that it should be fine.

But I have the satoshi so its a smaller area. My two hellas that were 2-3/4ish inches deep were a tight fit. They need to be like 3" or less. I'm just gonna go wih two eagle eye slim 7" 100w ones, And my one Hella in the middle. Lol all with 5000k bulbs.

If the top has been smoothed out, there shouldn't be any problems.

If I had joined the site sooner and known not to make plans for this weekend, I'd be out there with you guys this weekend.

These recent storms should make for some interesting spots on the trail. There's bound to be some washed out spots, some rutting (probably with mud) etc. Can't wait! If it rains the night before, we might have a squishy trip :)

use 4lo ALL THE TIME. unless you plan on going over 25.

wheel placement is key, make sure to try not to flex out your rig since you dont have a locker you will just sit there and spin

    :)
