Hi Marcel. Sounds like you're working hard today, eh? What happened to your thumb or is that from your texting injury?

The fuel line and shifter shouldn't be too bad. When you get the wiring done will it be driveable again?

I am taking 800 of Ibuprofen to keep the swelling down, but nothing other than that. I have a pretty high tolerance for pain and I want to try and hack it on my own if I can. I try to be as in tune with my body as possible most of the time

Thanks Marcel... There's never a good time for something like this, but with vaca starting Aug 1, it's tough not to be bummed

Yep! It was drivable until I was checking to make sure the body guy had hooked up the right thermostat. I have two. When I was revving the engine I was feeling the wires behind the gauges and by chance happened to notice they were hot as hell. I knew I had to rewire it but I had no idea how bad it was. With hot wires and a nicked fuel line I chose to park her at work and disconnect the battery. I miss driving her. The shifter in her works but I hate it. B&M ratchet shifter that is fussy.

 for no pain meds. I've seen many people with injuries get addicted. 800mg motrin is good for short term but can cause damage over long periods. I  for a god doc app on wed.

You are going to have an arthritic thumb when you get older hahaha. Be a good story for the grand kids. "well you see..... Back in the day when I had to walk up hill in the snow both ways to school..... All we had to communicate with were cell phones. "

No laughing at my Camaro progress. :smack: :D

With the Canadian healthcare system it's probably timely and difficult to find a Dino ortho specialist.

Well...... Since I was busy saving lives last shift. No. :pout: but tomorrow I have high hopes!!! I can't wait to start her up to move her into the ambulance bay. She purrrrrrrs. I love that sound. I'm gonna set the idle speed tomorrow too. When I moved her to the carport I noticed she was idling a wee bit high. Doesn't sound as good.
