Kai here, I'm from north of Boston. I usually go up to the Maine - Jackman or Machais area. There are a billion trails up there. It's a bit of a drive, but well-worth it!

I usually hit up the North Maine Woods (3.5 million acres of old and new logging roads) or the area surrounding Stud Mill Road/ Nicatous Lake. There are a ton of trails for ATVs, and a ton more for trucks and jeeps and stuff. There is a fee to get in to the NMW, but not for Stud Mill Rd. Pretty much any big paper company owned land in Maine is a good place to check out.

I think a meet up would be a sweet idea. I don't know any good places around here. There's one place I kind of illegally broke the truck in, up in Plaistow, NH. It's tiny though.

I think most of us would be active if there were trails around here. Let me know if i should speak for my self. I heard there are some good ones out in the Cape, can you back that up/spill the beans to where they are??

Theres a few cool little dirt trails and power lines but nothing offically legal Besides the public beaches. All the trails i know of are an average of a 2 hour drive from the cape. All of the good trails are kept pretty much a secret, so you need to join an NEA affiliated club to find many of them. Next time the NEA has a poker run i will be sure to post it in the New england section its a pretty good stock friendly trail.

I'm planning a camping trip some time in mid/late August to Stud Mill (Bangor area). If anyone wants to come up to check out the terrain, I wouldn't mind the company. I have stock suspension and highway tires still - just got the truck last month - but there are plenty of roads friendly to stock and jacked up tacos.

I'm pretty flexible, and would like to be up for the week, so I can do two weekends.

Brian is trying to run the 5 trails in the area of New Durham....Most of them are "stocker-friendly" while a few lead into "moderate conditions"....

The "idea" this year is to "group" people with that criteria in mind...They have been out doing pre-runs, so if you need EXACT locations, try contacting BBear through his site or ENH....

Number of vehicles coming is probably going to double over last year..with a great mix....Jeep, Toyota,Rover,Ford and even a "Mud Rod" ;)
