Hey guys I am new to the tacoma world. I just picked up my 2006 tacoma yesterday. The wheels on it are in not so great shape so I wanna order some cragar D-Windows for it but don't know what backspacing is on it now. I dont want it to end up looking all stupid with the wheels gapping out of the fenders without a lift... Any ideas?

The stock rims are 7" wide with 5.5" backspacing.

Cragar d windows won't fit on 2nd gen tacomas because they hit the brake calipers.

5.5" doesnt seem right to me

I would have guessed 5" even. What is your source?

I am talking about the wheels for 6-lug trucks. I believe the stock backspacing for 5-lugs is 3.75". Not positive though.

5.5" Backspacing on 7" Rim. Measured it myself. No stamping at all. Just for anyone that needs it, not trying to thread jack.
