    I was thinking about heading up mid day sat and camping sat night. I've never been up there though so I was kinda worried about wheeling with a bed full of camping gear on sun.

    The only radioshack that has anything CB in town is the one on Ming and they don't have much I just checked today. Tomorrow I'm gonna head out to Jericho so I'll let you know what they've got. I just need an antenna too so I'm hoping they have a firestick or like a Wilson flex. I meant caravanning down to Gorman btw

    Yeah I had the vision x mounted above on a roof rack on my last vehicle and it was like daylight. I put it behind the grill on the taco so I'm wondering how much usable output I've lost.

    Yeah it's a 34" I think don't remember exactly but it something like that it fills the whole lower grill with like a 1/2" on either side

    Yeah like I said I've had the light since before I bought the truck. I know what you mean though cause I've been looking at bumpers and how to keep it hidden. Or at least mounted in a way that looks good.
