Lighter Tire?

    6" Pro Comp, 315/70/17 Pro Cromp Xtreme mt on 17x8 ultra Goliaths, K&N intake, Westin Sportsman, Flowmaster Exhaust, Alpine Speakers and Amp, JL 8 Inch SUB, Pioneer AVH-P3300 BT, 35W 5k HID Healights and Fogs, 100W 6k HID converted 800 series KC Lights.
    Right now i am running 295/70/17 toyo mt's. I am thinking about getting a 6 inch lift and running 35's, but dont wanna regear right now.

    So im wondering what a a lighter tire is, one that maybe weighs the same as a 35" as my 33.5s toyo's.

    any input is appreciated.

    Tirerack.com Pick the tire you like and size. It'll tell you the weight in their specs tab. They are pretty accurate.

    My 35" KM2s(D range) and MTRs (C range) both weigh 64lbs. Toyos are the heavier of tires so pretty much anything besides a bogger will be lighter.

    i was looking at 35" KM2's, ive gotten 35k+ miles on my toyos and i love em, theyre just too heavy for me to go 35's and not regear. how do my 295/70/17 toyos compare to 35x12.5 R17 Km2's

    My KM2 35x12.5R18 measured 34.8x12". They run a little narrower than the claimed 12.5".

    KM2 30.11 lbs. This seems low but both numbers came from the manufacturers' web site.

    whats just a lighter tire that anyone recommends, I've always bought toyos, but again theyre too dam heavy for me now

    Nitto is a sister company of Toyo. So their tires will be very similar. In other words they'll weight close to the same as the Toyo MT's. 78lbs to be exact.

    I recommend the Good Year Wrangler MT/R tires. You live in the same conditions as me and I've been very happy with the tires. They're light, strong, air down nicely, and do great in snow.

    64 lbs. I'm getting bored of this game.

    Also found a different spec for the KM2 that says 68 lbs. Sounds much better than the 30 that BFG had on their own site.
