Also remember that straps stretch 10%. So if you measure 18" you will need a strap 1.8 inches shorter

I believe most limit straps include the eyelets on both sides but you want to make sure you account for the mounting tabs on your frame and axle

He means like this. See how the mounting tabs add about 4-5" of length.

Engage makes a solid product and seem like a good group of guys committed to the industry, but as we have seen they just aren't on par with a major recognized builder like Camburg or Total Chaos. The geometry of their kits is off in my humble opinion which is why they sit so ridiculously tall and its been almost 2 years since its release and they still do not have an a working half shaft designed for their "4wd" kit. Camburg and TC had everything like that worked out long before their kits ever hit the market.

Long story short, Engage just isn't a Giant in the game yet becuase they are still relatively new, that doesn't mean that they wont be someday, who knows but you have to build an expansive and well researched product line then prove that it works before you can get big. That and a TC or Camburg kit retails for almost double that of an Engage kit, why would someone trade down?

If you still dont get it, Example #2: Would you Trade your 4.0 Tacoma for a 4.0 Ranger?

Why not do the rear then you can worry about trading ? Better idea?

From my personal experience..they lack true business principles..

They say they are all about customer service satisfaction..well I can tell you I'm not satisfied with the time span in which they complete customer orders..

And on top of that..at least 3 separate times they have failed to provide all nessecary parts to install their products..

So if they decide to take their business seriously they won't be a major company in this industry..

But what do I know..i didnt get my business degree or anything..
