Poly wheels and wood don't do the trick. I'm just surprised no one had a window breaker on them, as I'm sure most of us have, in case of emergencies.

I mean they were mostly hitting it with the wheels and I know they aren't the most rigid things, probably absorbed a lot of the impact. Also those kids looked weak as shit...

i am surprised that the pole did not brake it the first hit. i can see maybe the wood skate deck.

 

It's always interesting seeing how different people handle these kinds of situations. The kids in the car were crying so they were alright for the most part. I've been on a shit ton of these calls. It's when the baby isn't crying or looking around is when it's a concern or a true emergency.

There was like, what, fifteen people standing around not really knowing what to do? Pathetic. If I was there I would have busted the window; only cause I like breaking shit when I can get away with it. Smiley face.

 

How many people does it take to break one window? Where was the owner of the vehicle?

Glass is funny. I worked for a mobile auto glass unit for about 6 yrs.
I have ran over a piece of tempered, curved door glass withought it breaking.
I dropped another piece of glass off the tailgate doing 55 on a hwy and it just skidded to a halt on the side of the road.
Yet I have broken door glass with a small metal hook tool barely knicking it.
And even while riveting the window channel back on, had one explode.

Glad everything turned out ok. As many have said, I would have thought the pole would have broken it on the first whack but glass is very odd.
Wierd to think of it as a liquid in a solid state.

x2 lol the edge of the glass is always the weakest spot. I bet if those skaters hit the edge with their boards, it might have broken a little quicker.
