    Thanks for the advice everyone! I've seen the Avid Offroad bars before, but I didn't know how they'd compare to having something a bit higher like a grille guard that spans the front of the vehicle.

    We have Ranch Hands on all of our GM pickups on the farm, and they certainly look better on the full-size pickups compared to the Tacoma option.

    I agree completely with the bull bar idea. Those never seemed like a great option to me.

    Also, the ARB or All-Pro bumper styles seem like a bit of overkill. I don't plan to go on any major off-road adventures with the truck. However, I hunt, fish and help on the farm in western Kansas. So, something with a bit of protection to it would be nice.

    I am in Founders Village. I have a Silver 06 Double Cab. It's pretty much stock, but I have some REV Dirty Harry Wheels and Toyo Open Country A/Ts on order at Performance Wheel and Tire. Everything should be ready for install soon.
