Oh I'm guessing about 400 or 450 in armor maybe a little more. I can't do the big brake upgrade because I'm running 15's I don't really have an issue with braking I have a 5 speed so it stops pretty well. Also its not a DD I only drive it to the trails, camping trips, and if I go see my mom in Sac or to the store Public trans FTW.

I bought a Blue torch fab Diff cover the price was to good for me not to. I'm fabbing up a 3rd member skid starting with the 1st Gen TRD's. If i like the design "I'm pretty sure i will" I'm going to fab up one for the 8.4 1st Gens the 2nd Gens, FJ's and the 4runners. And I'm thinking about doing a truss across the top of the axle too but I'm not sure yet.

Yeah after seeing that dent in my diff i had to buy something. I remember where it happened and i didn't even backup that hard but the rock still put a little dent in the diff.

Thats scarey. Truly the Achilles heal of any truck. Glad your on top of things getting her plated!

isn't there like a mod where you flip it too...so that the drain plug isnt facing down and prone to getting ripped of??...

And wow...that BTF plate looks sweet...and is pretty cheap considering what it does.
