Looking for Body lift Pictures for 05-09

I want to put a 3 inch body lift on , and want to see pics of just a body lift and 285/75-16's. I have done many BL's and its nice because the truck still rides stock. I have been looking into the 3 inch suspension but to do it right its too much money. Its just for looks, very little off road if any. thanks

Most of the time Nerf bars cover the frame so you cant even tell its a body lift if done right, with gap gaurds..

Googled and didnt find anything...someone has to have just a body lift pic somewhere

There are a couple with the BL stacked on a 6" for 9" total, but I haven't come across a BL only lift here...

lots of us have a 3" suspension lift and most will say it rides as good or better than stock. and welcome to Tacoma World ballon

 

I dont mind doing it right......i have done 4 bodylifts , and many susp lift on all my truck. Dont know why BL get such a bad rap. I do agree that on some trucks the frame hangs too low, but with 3 inch steps you may not even be able to see the frame that much.

If i did a susp lift i would do the 3 inch spacer, uca's and aal in rear thats 1000.0 plus tires.

Ive read alot about vibration and all the other problems with the spacer/ co lifts and diff spacer kits...id rather go body and have everything stock

 

Any pics with the 6inch plus 3 body or 3inch plus body would be great too, just want to see what the fram looks like..

You don't need new UCAs - stock works just fine. I ran stock UCAs on my 3" for 20k miles with no problems. That takes your price down to 400-500...

 

With out the UCA's wont the alignment be off cuz the shop wont be able to get it with in spec??? If i spend another 1000 on tires, i sure don't want the tires wearing funny. Do most of you guy not have the uCA's?

 

I have UCA's but thats cause I was advised to and I had the money then.

 

I was just going to do the 3 inch spacers from them not the springs. Whats the advantage of springs? I would think that the shock wouldnt work right being extented more close to toping out, and with a spacer the front shock still has the same travel and spring rate

 

I had no issue either on my STTs (until I put aftermarket UCAs on )

 

The coil lift will ride better than the spacer lift.

 

Are you guy using the 1 inch diff drop kits? I see some have bad vibration, anyone wreck cv shafts with out it?

Here's mine with a 3" body and the Revtek spacer kit running 285's. No rubbing at all, no issues with alignment.

 

thanks for the pic, do you have anymore, maybe ones all around and more lower, i want to see if i can see the frame stick out anywhere and also what it looks like in the front. thanks did u do the body lift first?

 

here is mine- 3 in body stacked with 3 in suspension. rolling on 35's. I know the pictures are weak but its all i got as of now. I will say however I did notice some vibration around 65 plus.

 

I'll see if I can get some more pics (but we are having super shitty weather here right now, so it might be a while). You really don't see the frame sticking out too much. I now have N-Fab bars on there with the 3" main tube and it covers it up a good bit. I actually bought the truck the way it sits, so I can't attest to what it looked like with just the body lift.
