I never noticed (or it didn't bother me) a glare until I read all the complaints on here and now every time it happens I get pissed that I ever read about it on here. Probably would have been just fine if I was still oblivious to it.

    None yet! It's new!
I simply can't believe the stupidity of the question/comment and that there are people replying to it... (like me, I guess)... just put in a request to have the sun moved and be done with it.

I don't notice the glare from mine. It's white so maybe your color reflects more?

Many people have reported that problem. It is the one reason I refused to consider a Sport trim when I was shopping for a truck.

One thing I considered, if I had found the right truck but it happened to have that scoop, was to get a piece of matte vinyl (perhaps black or color matched to the truck) cut to go over the scoop. You might give that a try.

Or look for someone on here who wants a scoop and has a normal hood, and trade.

I have noticed this problem when the sun is just right. Not a deal breaker for me, but if I happen to stumble upon the same colour non scooped hood, I wouldn't think twice about trading.
