Yeah..it's always Texas this and Texas that. Oklahoma always has major hype too that gets irritating. Even when they lose they get ranked way the fuck up there above better teams. Popularity contest??

Refuge for Teams? What teams? Nebraska is the only school that left the Big 12 to go to the big 10. Texas fans seem to forget that Texas was INVITED to join the was Big8 to become the big 12.

I'm excited to see my Utah Utes in the PAC-12 this season. The first conference game is against USC which will be a "baptism by fire". I'm glad we are out of the lethargic MWC and can play some real football and watch it on real TV.

I'm also glad to have Norm Chow back.

We're pretty stoked to have UTAH here in our conference. Good competition, good team and well coached, should be exciting. I'm stoked. Hope we meet up with them in the PAC12 championship game DEC. 3rd if we can get there and UTAH can get there. Other than that, we don't meet till next season.

True its all about the money. I know that and you know that. BUt where does that leave any room for shit talking.

And if you want to talk about the past all I have to say is 1-9.

Do you really think I need to be reminded of that?

Again it goes back to money. Texas has the money and there for the influence. So they flex their muscle a little and get the other teams to agree to their terms in most cases.

Ok refuge for A team that cant beat Texas.
Yes we were invited to join the Big 8 along with the other SWC teams. But after we merged well you know the rest of that story.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2011/07/28/s...ncaa-inquiry-unc-fires-coach-butch-davis.html

Davis out at UNC. And only 8 days before fall camp and 1 day after ACC media days. I feel bad for the Heels. They were on there way to being respectable again. I think this is going to take a long time to recover from.
I heard today this is the first time UNC has had any NCAA trouble in 50 years. And that was one of the major factors in letting Davis go. Huge stain on the university that considers its self a Public Ivy league school. If it weren't for the academic issues it might not have happened this way.

We're not leaving because you beat us. If you actually believe that I have some beach front property in Nebraska to sell you at a good price.

    neglect, mostly.
I couldn't believe that shit. The new board of trustees came in with their guns blazing. if you go to wral.com you can read some interesting finer points on it all. thats my local news station (covering chapel hill area as well). . . Being an NC State student and fan I'm supposed to be happy about another dismal blow to their program, but damn! I feel sorry for the guy. though I guess it will just result in he 6th straight year we beat them in football! (id rather not talk about basketball)

I'm pretty sure, not 100% mind you, that the college tournament was in town fishing Pickwick Lake just last week.

A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
I see all this Texas Longhorn bashing on here. Sure they have won NC's and lost some, and last year was horrible. Every body always claims their conference is the best yada yada blah blah blah. I would personally love to see Texas play some of these teams that think they are so great, but probably won't happen because they just won't get scheduled. I was excited when they played OSU in 05 and I thought UCLA was a great game last year. Now again this year playing UCLA, redemption time, and going to their house. Maybe one of these seasons Mack will schedule a team like LSU or Florida. Those would be great games. Two teams that barely play eachother, it could go either way. Truth of the matter is, that all of you bashing Texas, are just a bunch of jealous lil bitches. The End
