Are you going with that model because it is full DIN sized and has a front-firing speaker? Nice features but I had one of their CBs and several of the lights tha form the channel numbers went out on it...got so you couldn't tell what channel you were on...I'm runnin' a Cobra now...the Wallymart special - no issues with it...I think I like it better than the Unidyne...My two cents...

    My CB setup...

Cobra 19 Ultra III CB sunk halfway into the hot-dog holder:
Wilson 4' antenna on custom fab'd mount that bolts to the bed rail and then goes forward and up to clear my Extang solid-fold tonnau cover...

Not sure what a Full DIN size means. The one i posted is a Cobra, and I had the one you have mounted to the right of the cup holder (leg room Passenger) but i put that in the 86. It goes with the truck when it sells so I'm looking for a new one. This one is kinda cheap for the combo, and magnet Mount so I dont have to worry bout tuning a stick. though how does that mount you have for your stick connect to the bed? I have a Pace Edwards roll away bed cover, the rail on that side had to be removed for the install.

Also, for said sliders to be ordered I need to sell my Chrome Luverne Steps. Bolt to predrilled cab mounts, 05+ DC length. Would like to get $250, originally paid $420

guess ill look into gettin some, only concern would be if the spacers pushing the tires out would cause them to rub anywhere else

Thanks FattyC - got to it before I could...

2Kool4School - I'll try to remember to snap some pics of how I did the mount tomorrow...it's 3" wide x 1/8th" thick steel I picked up at Ace Hardware and cut/bent...then wiped it with acetone and sprayed it black...My intent was to not have to cut anything for the antenna mount....I bolted it to the bed-rail by using a 1" x 3" steel plate slide into the rail that the bolts (2 of them) go through....Like I said...pics tomorrow...
