if i were to get the lower uniball upgrade from solo for my spindle i would get an extra inch... that would put me at a tad more than 14"

right now i'm strapped at 12"

the 14" is what solo says is possible with a TC kit and spindle/ lower uni-ball conversion... what the set up will actually cycle in real life...IDK

JD pulls almost 14" but IIRC he's not bumped...

add bumps and it will cycle the noraml 13-ish inches

Its actually its on the straps in the pictures. So I am strapped at about 13 3/4" :D. Unstrapped the arms would fall a lot lower I would guess around 15" but then you run the risk of damaging the upper uniball.

And very true Matt. I will probably lose that extra 3/4" when I bump it just to be safe for flexing

why not just take out the engage spindles and gusset your OEM spindles? Low and wide. I know, almost seems like it's defeating the purpose of going long travel 2wd w/o taking advantage of the ability to go with big spindles, but you'd save yourself a lot of $ as TC and Burg are pricey compared to what you have.

Sell the engage spindles and buy TC's spindle gusset.

if he did that though he would be stuck with the spindles, unless he was able to sell them to another person with an engage kit. the engage spindles only work with engage kits...

also, there's a reason TC and burg are more money...

    word.

dude... i'm excitied and it's not even my truck haha

run your straps like how i have mine

the more the merrier for the straps, but you'd be fine with quad wrapped, single straps on each side. save you $50 in beer money

I've noticed alot talk recently about the amount of travel, and honestly I know that more is better and such, but is it nesscary to pull 16" travel?! Isn't more about proper shock/coilover tuning then anything?! Not 100% on this, just what I've been told!

Do it right. 24" of travel for $5K-

Although a properly designed and tuned suspension is important, a properly designed and tuned suspension with more travel will always be faster in rough terrain.

12'' of well tuned travel will out perform 16'' of poorly tuned travel.

16'' of well tuned travel will out perform...

    and so forth.
