oh gosh, that never ends well, almost had it happen to me, thankfully metal glasses, couldn't put them on my face

my advice to you, put the ear pieces in between the roof and the sun visor, has worked for me since i started it with my oakley flak jackets (different than the ones that got hot)

I've never had sunglasses melt on me, even when I lived in AZ when it was 110+ outside.

I have two pairs. And I had my work glasses on. So these were my nice ones. And of course I was working hence why they were in the compartment.

Damn that sucks. I tend to lose or break mine accidentally. I have had these the longest of all the pairs of sunglasses that I've had. The pair I have now were dropped in the front yard and my brothers dog got a hold of them and well the rubber pieces were screwed along with the lenses scratched to shit. Contacted Oakley and they sent replacement pieces/lenses and they are good as new now :D

Damn, I have 2 sets of Oakleys. I leave one set in the glasses case and the other on the dash in direct sunlight in Arizona and never had a problem. We are talking 120+ degrees inside the truck in direct sunlight.

What kind of glasses did you have?
