Long bed on an Access Cab!

Why let the determining factor be about looks?
People used to buy trucks for their usage...

If you're worried about the looks and how many people you can carry get a car!

 

All access cabs have the longbed ( 6' )

 

I applaud you for your supreme knowledge...


I know all Access Cab's have a 6' bed. I thought specifying that my truck was not a Double Cab would make a difference.

I probably would have gone with a long bed had the manual been available with it. I would like to have the extra space but its not something I would use on a regular basis and I much prefer driving the six speed plus I really liked the features that came with the OR package.

 

I drove manual for 14 years before this truck , if the DCLB came in a manual tranny , I would be driving it .

 

Apparently the new updates that are coming later this year will offer that option. We will see if it's available in Canada. I kind of hope so, but kind of don't because I'd be too tempted to trade in for it.

Where it says "4X4 DOUBLE CAB V6 - Manual transmission now available in A-suffix configuration"
In that tread someone said that the A-suffix is double cab long bed.

i like the short.... uh so i bought the long. Comes in use alot more can actually fit full load of wood in it but makes the truck look lower. but who cares its getting lifted

 

long box looks like a truck, the short box reminds me of a Ridgeline or an Avalanche, but i need the space for hauling so i got the standard 6ft bed, wish i had the 7ft so i could close the gate all the way when i haul dirtbikes in the back.

 

They make a 7' bed?

 

I park in my garage, figure if I'm paying a big mortgage, then I'm pampering myself, especially in the winter. So a short-bed fits fine.

I like the short-bed look better - anything I haul fits right in there fine.

 

wait i got that wrong, the 7ft is the long bed, 6ft is standard bed (what i have) and 5ft is short bed

 

Long Bed...Just cleaned out the garage last night after the oil change and moved my work bench and other random ish into my smaller shop. Nice being able to stuff that thing in with my subi and get err out of the elements. Looks like she is gonna fit to with my 3" lift that is just waiting to be put on.
