How do you guys like the idea of a little competition between the different regions (SoCal, NorCal, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, etc) on who can produce the most bad ass video for the 2011 wheeling season?

    1 video submission per region

so get in your B.S. threads and compile 1 video to submit

    Video length of 8-10 minutes

there must be no video portions showing any off-trail driving (let's not give off-roaders a bad name)

    Submission deadline NOVEMBER 15TH!

If anyone has any good ideas on how to judge or keep track of voting, please contribute to this competition building process

if anyone would like to sponsor some sort of prize for the winning region, sweet...spot in a magazine? discount on products? sponsor a trail run or event in the future within the region? get creative, it would be hard because there wouldn't be 1 person who wins, it would be a collective project between many people and a prize should benefit the region of riders...

    willing participants:
    Colorado
    Arizona
    Texas
    SoCal
    Mid-Atlantic
Alabama (South East? need more participants in the region to happen, talk to alabama)
    Montana
    Utah
    New Mexico

    who else is game?

well with people with alot of members in a area, like 20 members, thats only a 30 second video each, i think 10 is good.

2 would be way too short imo...need some time to get a good variety of the terrain and rigs in there...5mins minimum i'd say, but 10min is ample time to fit everything in

a complete video would showcase the variety of terrain the region has which i don't think you can accomplish in 2min

:notsure: each region having a 10 min vid would take an hr to watch. Just opinion....my youtube channel gets more hits on shorter vids. People loose interest after a few mins. Same reason radio songs are not ten min.

    maybe 4 min? lol

i do see where your coming with this though, but 2 min is just way too short for a whole region

voting doesn't have to happen all within a couple minutes though...take 2 weeks to go through all videos...if you watch 2 in a day and only like 1 of them vote on the one and watch 2 more some other day
