I had two pulled and I don't remember much. I know they said they had to use more gas then normal because I kept wanting to ask a question but couldn't remember what it was.

I had 4 of mine done at the same time. 3 were impacked and had to be cut out, the last just had to be pulled. It was the most painful thing I have ever gone thru. I ate room temperature jello/pudding for almost a weekb/c it made my mouth bleed if I ate anything else. GL and thank god for Vicoden

I have to lay on the couch all weekend because my teeth were deep so any raised heart rate and I'll start bleeding.

Good Luck, I had mine taken out about 7 years ago when i was 19. It sucked for a few days. I actually ended up not taking the Hydrocodone because it made me feel like crap and I couldn't sleep when I was on it. I decided I could sleep better in pain than on being that crap.

Smoothies and oyster soup for 3 days sucked. On day 4 I went to Chili's and had a turkey sandwich & fries. It was painful but delicious after 3 days of non solid foods.

After about 7 days I was just about completely recovered. make sure you keep the sockets cleaned out frequently so you don't get dry sockets or an infection.

Gas is the Shit! They had me count down from 10...By #8 my arms and legs went numb and I was feeling good, I didn't make it past 7. Then woke up in a bed at my grandfathers house about 4 hours later.

4 impacted and all 4 done at the same time. Swelled up like a chipmunk, but played hockey the next night .. eat soft foods (jello, apple sauce, white castle, ect).

The second day is the worst, it gets better each day. Playing with the stitches is fun, and then they start to fall out is even cooler.

Just a bunch of old crap
    Pussies!

Worked in the morning, went do the dentist at lunch and got all 4 pulled, and went back to work for the day after a swing by the pharmacy. Yeah it hurt for a couple days, but it's tolerable. They had to break 2 of mine out, too. The pain of the impacted one was worse than the extraction itself though.

i started laughing hysterically for the entire thing, all i had was gas (it was actually to draw blood from me, insane needle phobia), and they dosed me up, man it was awesome

they didn't even have me count down, just started the gas and walked out for the room for a couple seconds to get the nurse from down the hall, said he lost a game of raquetball to his son the day before and i lost it, couldnt stop laughing

the dentist aid there wants to put it in balloons and sell it outside wallmart, after the stress of walmart, i would buy it (if only it was legal)

I need to get mine done but i'm scared to death of it! i've heard both sides, that it wasn't that bad, and then that it was the worst thing ever... i'm pretty sure all 4 of mine are 'impacted' ... :(

Had all 4 of mine pulled at same time, never went under... I just remember the cracking sound it made ad the doc pulled them, oh and i got to keep them for the tooth fairy

Just had novacaine injections before and vicoden afterwards, swelling was normal the next day.

Having wisdom teeth will crowd your other teeth giving you a can opener for a smile :D

honestly its not that bad, the surgery is no big deal at all! The worst thing is having to just hang out at home so I don't get a dry socket.

They put me out for mine. I just remember waking up in the chair when it was over and a lot of drooling and pain because the doc hit a nerve in my jaw that made my whole lower face go numb. Couldn't coordinate myself to swallow a pill for another 5 hrs.
