I can take some for you before I deliver the truck today. Anything you want in particular?

just want to see how it works, the latch mechanism.... I would want mine with a flat spot for rotopax next to the tire.

Well.... I think your going to do yours similar to mine. (*he is the owner not eric) But on this one, he did not want a larger area for the tire, he had a crazy odd design for his backup camera, he wanted a shorter swing arm and so on. I will shoot a pic of the latch and get it to you.

Lately I've been thinking on trading in the tacoma for an fj. As long as i have the roof rack i can still carry all my surf/snow boards and gear. Guys who've made the change, are you happy with it?

ya just looking at dealers and some reviews. gotta get out and test drive one soon. only thing i can see thats different is how close the front windshield sits and looks like there may be a blindspot due to the c pillar

Blind spots are definitely an issue.

I'm considering the making the switch as well. I was offered 26k for my 10 TRD DC 4x4 with 20k miles on it for a trade on an FJ. I think its worth a bit more personally. How well did you find dealers willing to move on the #'s on the FJ? Do they stay close to sticker because theres so few of them?
